Review Policy

I LOVE reading - I read about 2-3 books per week and ALWAYS review promptly (unless part of a blog tour etc).

I am currently accepting requests for reviews - please supply the following information when submitting:

  • Genre
  • Overview of book
  • Length (number of pages, not word count)
  • Any warnings of the following: Assault, Rape, Brutality, Domestic Violence, Depression Issues, strong BDSM, war and Love Triangles/Cheating.
  • Release date
Favouite Genre's:

NA, YA, Indie, Chick-Lit, Erotic Romance and Adult Contemporary. I will pretty much read anything! Have a look at the books I've read and reviewed here:

I try to put a lot of work into reviews to make them as honest and informative as possible without ruining the storyline. I hate nothing more than reading a review full of spoilers - why ruin the book for someone else?? I always try to tell the possible reader how the book made me feel throughout as that, to me, is what a book is all about - making me feel something, making me feel connected to the characters, making me feel part of their story.
I will post reviews at the following places:
  • Addicted2B00ks Blog
  • Goodreads
  • Amazon
  • SheReadsNewAdult (occasionally)
If a book does not get a 3* review or above, I will contact the author and ask if they wish my review to be published.

I read on my iPad, Kindle and actual books (you know those paper things that we used to love??) so if anyone is sending me a copy of a book to read - ePub, mobi or hard copy please.

I participate in various BlogTours, Blitz's and release day events. I also, on occasion, host these. Should you wish to contact me regarding either my participation or my services as a host, please email me on the below address.

I will always aim to respond to your email/message within 24 hours.

All books featured on my blog are either puchased by me and/or gifted to me by the author or publisher. The price of a book does not influence my opinion or review and I do not get any kind of reimbursement for reading/reviewing.

  1. Hi. My name is Ren Alexander and I'd be honored if you'd review my contemporary romance, "Chasing the Wild Sparks." The book is 354 pages and was released early last month. It's the first book in a series, the second debuting sometime late Nov/early Dec.

In this book, there are issues with depression.

    Book blurb:

What would you do if the love of your life doesn’t want the same life you do?
Hadley Beckett has failed in not only her career, but as a daughter, friend, and girlfriend.

Hadley’s longtime boyfriend, Finn Wilder, who is Richmond, Virginia’s local daredevil and favorite sportscaster, isn’t afraid of anything…except for LASIK surgery, dancing, marriage, and kids—the last two being what Hadley desperately wants with him. Finn leads a very public life; however, he leaves Hadley in the dark about most of it. Despite his public persona, Finn is viciously protective of his private life. Excluding their families, his best friend and Hadley’s friends, nobody knows he has been dating her for three years. Finn loves Hadley and he knows she wants to get married. Nevertheless, he has his own reasons for not wanting to marry her.

Fearing at 33 that she will soon be too old to have kids, Hadley wants Finn to change his mind and marry her, yet her insecurities about his seemingly charismatic personality and his constant rebuffs have her questioning her aspirations. With conflicting advice from her friends, Hadley concludes she should take things into her own hands.
Would he change his mind then?

Finn pressures Hadley into moving in with him, but being traditional, she wants to be married first and she wants to stick to her beliefs, just as he clings to his own. Finn has tolerated Hadley’s stubbornness long enough and he’s reaching his breaking point.

Finn Wilder has his own story to tell.

Thank you for your time! :)

    Ren Alexander
